Posterjack Prints on Wood - Giveaway!

You may recall a while back Canadian print company Posterjack.ca came out with a nice little offer, a sample 8x12" photo print. Looking back it was about three months ago, just in time for Mia's 9-month check up (today's her 12 month appointment!). I got mine, and was very pleased with the quality and speed of the order. I framed the print I received, and I'm looking forward to moving into the new house in a couple months so I can put it up!

Posterjack.ca has launched a new product that looks really cool. They are now printing on Canadian birch wood. With the light colour and fine grain of birch, it makes a really nice printing surface. I haven't seen it first hand yet (I can't wait to get one), but I think it would look great to have a family photo or travel picture printed on wood. Really different, personalized, and pretty. Each birch wood print also has a frame included, so they're ready to hang on the wall. I think it would fit in in any style of home, from rustic to contemporary.

I have done some paintings on wood panels, and I love the way the smooth surface looks. It's very different from canvas or paper. More natural looking, and it always brings a second look.

This new product is an addition to their already diverse line of canvas prints, framed photos, and photo mounting. You can even get a photo on metal printed.

My favourite photos these days, of course, are of Mia - she's changing so fast that I want to document every moment.
