If you haven't heard of Sibu Beauty before, it is a line of products made from the Sea Buckthorn berry, a remarkable berry from Tibet. This premium line of beauty products is designed to help you care for your skin from the outside and the inside, with products ranging from creams, cleansers and soaps to sea buckthorn berry puree and cellular support tabs. The line is also paraben-free and preservative-free, as well as cruelty-free and fair-trade.
The Exfoliating Scrub is granular to freshen the complexion. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I find I need to go easy with this. The particles of apricot kernel are a little large and coarse for my skin. But with a gentle touch once or twice a week, this is great to get a deep clean and exfoliate.
The Purifying Mask is designed for all skin types. It contains kaolin clay, so is great for taming oily complexions like mine - yet it does not leave my skin dry after using it like so many clay masks do. It is a very light mask, with a creamy texture, almost slippery. Very easy to apply, and in 3-10 minutes you rinse it off. I use this a couple of times a week as well, and I find that it does help with my oily skin. Not to mention helping me feel a little pampered :)
The Clarifying Toner is a refreshing spray that you can use directly on the face, or on a swab. I like using it after cleansing to ensure that all makeup residue comes off. Unlike other toners, it does not leave my skin dry either.
All of these products have a lovely citrusy smell, from the citrus essential oils in them. Nice and fresh, but not overpowering or too sweet.
And here's something beautiful for you - Sibu Beauty has generously offered a prize pack of the same products I received to one of my lucky readers!
